Horrors of war. What happens is wounded soldiers are left in trenches and then drones fly and finish the job.

Use of drones to “clean up” the battlefield from wounded should be a war crime. The worst use of technology.

Part of victim's arm was found in the 7-foot reptile's stomach during dissection A woman walking her dogs in Australia had her arm bitten off by a crocodile in a "death roll". The victim, aged in her 60s, had been at Three Mile Creek in Wyndham, about 280 miles south-west of Darwin, when the predator attacked on Wednesday afternoon. The woman, missing her arm just above the elbow, reportedly needed to be convinced to get into a vehicle which had stopped to help as she did not want to get blood in the car. After being taken to Wyndham Hospital she was then flown to the Royal Darwin Hospital where she underwent surgery. She is understood to be in a stable condition. Resident Paul Cavanagh said his nephew and son-in-law picked the injured woman up and took her to hospital after seeing she was missing her arm just above her elbow. On May 1, 1999, an American mountaineer named Conrad Anker noticed a large, flat rock while climbing the northern slopes of Mount Everest But when Anker moved closer to get a better look, he realized that the "rock" was actually the exposed back of George Mallory — a British explorer who had famously vanished on the mountain about 75 years earlier and may have been the first to reach its summit. Time had degraded most of Mallory's clothing, but the icy conditions of Everest had preserved much of his body, which helped experts piece together his final moments. Since Mallory had a broken right leg and arm, and an ice axe had been discovered above him, it appeared that he had likely died after he took a bad fall while climbing. And tragically, his death probably did not come quickly.
