Minnesota man found guilty of reckless homicide for fatally stabbing teen in river tubing brawl
This is insane. We all saw the video, and it was obviously self-defense.
𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 - As the trial of Nicolae Miu progresses into its second week, the Wisconsin courtroom remains captivated by the unfolding events surrounding a deadly stabbing that occurred in July 2022 on the Apple River. Very unfortunate. Miu, a 54-year-old man, faces charges of homicide, attempted homicide, and battery for his alleged involvement in the incident that resulted in the death of 17-year-old Isaac Schuman and injuries to four others. Miu's defense hinges on claims of self-defense, asserting that he was acting in response to an assault initiated by the group of teenagers. According to his attorneys, the altercation began after Miu, who was searching for his cellphone, was allegedly harassed and attacked by the group. One of the teenagers present, Owen Peloquin, offers a differing account, suggesting that the conflict was sparked by a comment made by Miu about “little girls.” This verbal exchange is said to have escalated into a physical confrontation, during which Miu was reportedly knocked to the ground. In response, Miu allegedly drew a knife and proceeded to stab five individuals, fatally wounding Schuman. As the trial continues, the court will be tasked with examining the evidence and testimonies presented by both the prosecution and defense in order to determine the true nature of the events that transpired on that fateful day in July 2022. After seeing the video footage of what transpired, do you think this was an act of self-defense or is Miu guilty of murder? Let us know your thoughts below
