The guy pictured below is Ali Khan Samsudin, a famous snake charmer who regularly performed stunts with cobras.

He is most known for locking himself in a room with 400 cobras for 40 days, something most people would consider their worst nightmare.

Sadly, after years of doing this, one cobra decided it had enough of the “Snake King” and bit him fatally back in 2006.

Ali Khan Samsudin, known for his daring stunts with cobras, also earned the title of "Scorpion King". He achieved this by living in a glass enclosure with 6,000 scorpions for 21 days, a feat that was listed in the 1998 Guinness Book of World Records. This shows his fearlessness and dedication to his craft, as he was willing to put himself in dangerous situations not just with snakes, but also with other deadly creatures.

Samsudin's influence extended beyond his own life. He had a protégé, Nur Malena Hassan, who followed in his footsteps and completed her own record-breaking stunts. She is now known as the "Scorpion Queen", carrying on Samsudin's legacy. This shows that Samsudin was not only a performer, but also a mentor who inspired others to push their limits.

Despite his dangerous profession, Samsudin was a family man. He is survived by his two wives and five children. His death was a great loss to them and to the world of extreme performance art. His legacy lives on through his family and through the records he set, reminding us of the extraordinary feats one can achieve.
